Fusing the best of pilates, yoga, aerobics, and elements of strength training exercises, Barre Above™ delivers a results-driven workout that is not only fun and dynamic, but it will sculpt your body and get you into absolutely amazing shape.

Fall 2019 Tap Classes
Session 1: Sept. 12 – Oct. 3 (no class Oct. 10)
Session 2: Oct. 17 – Nov. 14 (no class Oct. 31)
CA 226, Center for the Arts — Tap Box
Absolute Beginner: Thursdays 6-6:30 p.m.
If you’ve never put on a tap shoe before, this is the class for you! Check it out!
Beginner/Advanced Beginner: Thursdays 6:30-7:30 p.m.
This welcoming class is for beginners and advanced beginners. We will focus on the basic tap rudiments developing rhythm, style and sound while having fun! Students will be exposed to a variety of tap choreography including Traditional, Broadway, Rhythm Tap and more.
Intermediate/Advanced: Thursdays 7:30-8:30 p.m.
This fun, upbeat class is for the intermediate-advanced tap dancer who has a good working knowledge of the tap basics. Emphasis will be on proper technique, clarity of sound, speed/tempo and exploring new and more intricate rhythms. Students will be exposed to a variety of tap choreography including Traditional, Broadway, Rhythm Tap and more.

Randall Anthony Smith, Assistant Professor of Dance, will offer regularly scheduled Saturday morning classes this fall. This is a class for intermediate level and above; all clients must be evaluated by Randall or by Ellen Troy Mulcahy before signing up.
