General Membership
All members of the MDA must adhere to the following standards:
General Membership
Active members will have such privileges as:
- The ability to vote in MDA leadership elections
- The ability to run for an MDA Executive Board position
- Attend MDA and MTA sponsored social events
- Access to department rehearsal space for MDA productions
- The ability to audition for Dance Department productions
- Opportunities to engage in production support roles
All members of the MDA must adhere to the following standards:
- All members must attend 5 general meetings per academic year
- All members must contribute 10 hours of service per year to the dance community, which will be decided on and distributed by the MDA Executive Board
If you are abroad for a semester, you must adhere to the following standards:
- Attend 2 meetings for the semester you are on campus
- Contribute 5 hours of service for the semester you are on campus to the dance community, which will be decided on and distributed by the MDA Executive Board
Failure to meet these standards will result in inactive membership. Inactive members must complete a petition form for review by the MDA President, Vice President, Secretary and Faculty Advisor, in order to be able to participate in Muhlenberg Dance Association and Muhlenberg Dance Department productions.
