Copacetic Rhythms
Mission Statement/About the Organization
The Copacetic Rhythms are dedicated to creating a performative and choreographic tap dance experience outside of the Muhlenberg Dance Curriculum.
The Copacetic Rhythms are a sub-organization of the Muhlenberg Dance Association, meaning that all members are required to abide by all Muhlenberg Dance Association regulations and bylaws. Any violation of those regulations may result in repercussions at the discretion of the Muhlenberg Dance Association Executive Board.
Membership & Leadership Membership is open to all Muhlenberg College students who have paid the Student Activity Fee, are an active member of the Muhlenberg Dance Association, and have completed an audition. An active member who does not submit an MDA Hours form may become an inactive member of the Copacetic Rhythms. All members regardless of status may attend meetings and rehearsals,
but active members can also vote in any matter brought to the general membership, be elected for President/Vice President, and perform at any events the group performs at.
Meetings, Rehearsals, and Auditions
Unless otherwise decided by the executive board, meetings will be held once a week at a time determined by the executive board at the beginning of each academic year.
Auditions should be held at the beginning of each fall semester and can also be held during the spring semester at the discretion of the President and Vice President. Any active member of the MDA is welcome to audition, but members are accepted based on the decisions made by the President and Vice President. If an auditionee is not accepted at their first audition, they are invited to audition again at all future auditions.
